My deep-rooted love for animals stems from my childhood, where the presence of a Cocker Spaniel and an Eclectus parrot shaped my early years. Growing up in a military household limited us to one pet at a time, leading to periods of pet-less existence that left me yearning for the companionship of animals. Although my initial aspiration was to pursue a career in veterinary medicine, life guided me towards a different path as a nurse. Amidst the tumultuous times of the COVID era, I turned to photography as a source of solace amidst the chaos and uncertainty. Rekindling my passion for photography, which originated in the 1990s with my parents' cameras, I embraced digital photography with a Nikon Z6ii in 2022. Engaging in photography education across various platforms, I grappled with finding my niche until I rediscovered my fervor for animals. Inspired by the work of Macro Photographer Tibor Molnar, I embarked on a journey into pet, wildlife, and macro photography, ultimately discovering my true calling in capturing the essence and beauty of these subjects.
